Ruth Ribeaucourt

Creative director, editor in chief

Ruth spent the first decade of her career as an international publicist and talent handler for Walt Disney Studios, but in 2010, she gave it up for a slower life in a medieval village in Provence, France. In the years since, she has cultivated a life filled with making, creating and collaborating.

It all began when she launched her jewellery line in 2010, creating pieces using antique textiles and found objects, selling her one of a kind pieces in boutiques in Europe, Japan and North America. As her network of contacts grew, she was commissioned to photograph and write stories of creatives all across Europe for magazine publications like Where Women Create, What Women Create, My French Country Home, and Quilt Mania and book publishers, Flammarion (2023); Hardie & Grant UK (2023), Editions de La Martinière (2023), Éditions Eyrolles (2022) and Simon & Schuster (2021).

In 2019, Ruth founded Forage, Feast, Photography, a series of international creative retreats designed to bring people together through storytelling, food and photography.

In 2020, Ruth was invited to create and guest-edit a special issue of What Women Create. The issue focused on the idea of slowing down and healing through creativity. “This is it,” she remembers thinking while working on the issue. She had found her passion: giving creatives a platform and a voice.

Launched in spring 2021, FAIRE is just that: a platform through which to share the intimate and honest stories of creatives’ lives.

India Miller

Creative retreat operations genie

Indie is what some people might call a ‘Jill of all trades,’ she loves to learn and hates sitting still. She was born and raised in Idaho, where she grew up on a farm and learned the importance of hard work.

She studied TESOL and Psychology while attending Brigham Young University Hawaii and during that time developed a true love of different cultures. She took that time to study abroad in Israel and live in Cambodia for part of a summer teaching English.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, she craved a change of scenery and a new adventure, so she packed her bags for Europe and serendipity led her to join the FAIRE team.

Kristin Jensen

Managing Editor

Kristin is a freelance editor, food writer and publisher in Ireland who believes that stories are one of the most fundamental things that connect absolutely everyone, everywhere.

She is the founder of the Blasta Books series of small cookbooks that publish new voices and provide a more inclusive snapshot of Ireland’s modern and diverse food culture.

She has also co-authored two books, Saturday Pizzas at the Ballymaloe Cookery School (Ryland Peters & Small, 2017) and Sláinte: The Complete Guide to Irish Craft Beer and Cider (New Island, 2014), and is currently writing a cookbook to be published in spring 2023.

When she’s not pottering in the kitchen or got her nose stuck in a book, you’ll find her walking for miles in the countryside with her dogs, probably listening to a podcast about food.
